Educational Software Is Getting Funny
Endless education is available with new class of educational software.
The screensaver from Cool Educational Software no longer saves screen but educates! And it does so in a really unusual manner, which is appealing to kids and adults alike.
Cool Educational Software announces Cool Educational Screensaver, a new way educational software that downloads educational videos from its Internet server and plays them when your computer enters the idle mode.
The lessons are grouped to courses by subjects. As an example, the "Astronomy::The Solar System" course offers lessons about the Sun, the Earth and other eight planets.
Every day on the first launch Cool Educational Screensaver downloads the next lesson of the specified course and shows it during the day. When the current course is completed, user chooses another one and continue.

Cool Educational Screensaver has a special mode - Content Wizard, which opens upon installation and lets you set up the delivery and playback of educational lessons. You can, for example, change channel preferences, and select a desirable background audio. Then you refresh the index of lessons from the Internet and pick your first course to learn. Cool Educational Software updates the lesson database regularly - every day there are a lot of new lessons ready for download!
A lesson about Pharaohs (the "Ancient Egypt" course of Astronomy channel) was provided for this review. It presents some basic data and interesting cultural facts about Ancient Egypt, pictures and photos of the Pharaos. The information is well-organised and the educational video itself looks just fine.
